For nearly a decade, we've proudly sourced coffee from Gilmer Mejia and his family in the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru. Over the years, Gilmer has become one of our most trusted producing partners.
Nestled at 1,850 meters above sea level in the district of Huabal, Gilmer's seven-hectare farm is managed using organic practices, including compost and natural guano fertilizers. Coffee grows beneath native shade trees and is harvested entirely by hand, ensuring only the ripest cherries make it into the final lot.

When we started the company, if you place your order by 10 am, it was roasted that day and shipped to you. We still adhere to those foundational principles today, and all orders are roasted to order. Anything placed before 8am will roast and ship that day. Anything after 8 am will be roasted and shipped the next day.
We choose beans from farmers and cooperatives who share our commitment to sustainability, quality, and ethical practices. The countries of origin are listed on each of the coffee descriptions.
