The Little Swamps Estate, a 45 acre farm set at 2,200 meters in Kenya’s Western Rift Valley. High elevation, careful washed processing, and swamp fed irrigation come together to produce a bright, structured cup with lively citrus, warm sweetness, and a smooth finish.
Little Swamps is owned by Doris Tuiyott began restoring soil long depleted by grain farming, in 2019. Through organic inputs, thoughtful water use, and deliberate planting, she has brought new life to the farm. Today, only 13 acres are planted, primarily with Batian, allowing for steady growth without sacrificing quality.
The result is a washed Kenyan coffee that feels both precise and generous. Lively key lime acidity opens the cup, followed by graham cracker sweetness and a smooth, syrupy body. It is a coffee shaped as much by careful farming and quiet leadership as by altitude and variety, offering a clear expression of Doris Tuiyott’s vision and the land she continues to bring back to life.

Anything placed before 8am will roast and ship that day. Anything after 8 am will be roasted and shipped the next day.
