Luis Anibal Calderon’s farm in Huila, Colombia, is a living coffee museum that houses some of the world’s most rare and exotic coffee varietals. Here, we find the exceedingly rare Maragesha, a hybrid mutation of the Maragogype and Gesha varietals. According to Luis Anibal, this hybrid mutation occurred naturally on his farm, so it seems this was a happy accident.
